Grilled Tilapia BLT
This simple and delicious Grilled Tilapia BLT recipe stars tender grilled fish, complimented by crunchy bacon, crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes nestled in a brioche bun.
4 fresh Regal Springs Tilapia fillets
4 brioche buns, sliced in half
12 strips bacon, thick cut
4 slices tomato
8 leaves Bibb lettuce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Toast insides of buns: In a dry sauté pan over medium heat, place brioche buns, cut sides down. Check frequently until toasted to your liking, then remove and set aside until ready to use.
Using the same pan, cook bacon until crisp, turning over once. Remove and set aside.
Grill Regal Springs Tilapia fillets approximately 4 minutes per side, or to an internal temperature of 165ºF. Remove from grill and season with paprika, black pepper and salt.
Spread mayonnaise on both sides of each bun. Assemble sandwiches by placing one tilapia fillet on each bottom bun, followed by bacon, tomato, lettuce and top of bun, and serve.
