In 1998, Regal Springs set up another farming base in Northwest Honduras.
Utilizing the same Lake cage technology, our Honduran production is focused
on fresh markets in Grocery and foodservice.
The advantage of having "Springwater Polished" Tilapia only 1 1/2 hrs
outside of Miami provides yet another benefit for our loyal customers.
With this proximity, rapid response time and huge, high quality, water
resources, you can expect abundant and consistent supplies of both fresh and
frozen "Springwater Polished" Tilapia fillets coming from
Honduras.

Retail Bag
Our retail
bag contains 12 ounces of 2 to 4 oz., of deepskinned, deboned, Tilapia
fillets. The fillets are interleaved and then vac packed inside the color
outer bag. This allows customers to separate single fillets without
defrosting the whole package. This is a highly graphic bag, with UPC,
cooking instructions, nutritional and species information with a view window
at the bottom. Besides the products attraction, the low 12-oz price point
provides a merchandizing opportunity. Ideal to tempt new customers to try
Tilapia and become hooked!
Packaging: 4 x 9 lb., with 12 x 12 oz bags per inner case. Therefore the
master is 36 lbs containing 48 bags. The inner cases are designed to stand
alone which can be sold or shipped without the master.
